Reviews & press
Press coverage, campaign figures and player feedback — quoted exactly, and linked to the page it came from so you can check any of it in one click.
Newqz Culture is thus back with Spire of Dioronna, an ambitious-looking title which boasts a Kickstarter page full of how-to-play demonstrations, stunning artwork, and heaps of player feedback.
Mechanically there is something unique about the modular nature of the title too.
Players are also given an outline of the map, the functions of each map card, and an overview of how these gorgeously designed elements all interact with one another.
With narrative cards depicting hats, cats and magical keys which can prove to be the path to victory, audiences should find that this simplistic system is easy to pick up.
While far-from a household name, the developers have previously created Crow Drinks Water, a party strategy title which wowed backers and once again broke its own targets.
It's important to note that this is not an officially licensed game, but fans of 3 Body Problem will definitely find something to love!
A Spire of Dioronna board game has gone live on Kickstarter. This card game is based on the 3 Body Problem novel series written by Liu Cixin, which was recently given a streaming series adaptation on Netflix.
At time of writing, the Spire of Dioronna Kickstarter campaign has raised $8,780, almost tripling its initial funding goal of $3,000.
The numbers
Kickstarter publishes every campaign's funding permanently, which makes it the one form of proof a studio cannot quietly edit. Here is ours, with links.

From players
We publish player reviews here as they appear in public — and only ones we can link to.
Both of our games are small print runs sold mostly to Kickstarter backers, and neither has picked up public ratings on BoardGameGeek or reviews on its retail listing yet. Rather than fill this space with testimonials you cannot check, we have left it empty until there is something real to put in it.
If you own one of our games, a rating on BoardGameGeek is the single most useful thing you can do for a studio this size.
In our own words
This one is ours, not a reviewer's — we have labelled it that way on purpose, because a press release is not a review.
Each move in the game carries weight, encouraging players to embrace the thrill of the unknown. We wanted to create an experience where strategy meets storytelling, allowing players to shape their journey in an unpredictable and magical world.
Review copies, high-resolution artwork and component shots are available. The press kit has the basics; email us for anything it does not cover.
